Academicians issue White Paper: Karakoram University den of criminals
Special Report
note ==>>> this is our university so if the below white paper which is issued by the academicians is in fact the it is our duty to support the academicians and raise the sound tho save the university it is ours .if it is fake then also give support the VC and management.   ( read this article and think which side is right and which side is wrong )

THE allegations of corruption and serious crime on campus have forced faculty members of the Karakoram International University (KIU) to make their voice public against the corrupt administration finally, saying that the KIU has become center of favoritism, corruption and unlawful activities in Gilgit-Baltistan.

“The Academic Staff Association KIU has issued a White Paper against the corrupt ‘regime’ of KIU, which is hereby attached with the supporting documents,” says Muhammad Shahnawaz, chairman KIU Academic Staff Association (ASA), in an email to The Terrorland group blogs. It also includes a statement and a pile of text and scanned files.

The KIU is the only university for the over 2 million population of Gilgit-Baltistan, a region which has no representation in the Pakistani federation (parliament) and is being ruled by the federal government on ad-hoc basis since 1947.

It says that Vice-Chancellor Dr. Najma Najam has put the KIU's existence in danger as there are “worst examples of favoritism, corruption and unlawful activities” on campus and there is no-one to take action against the accused and her team members.

“After taking over the charge of office, sitting Vice-Chancellor (Dr. Najma Najam) has illegally appointed a gang as Assistant Deans to gain undue support for her activities,” Mr. Shahnawaz said in the statement. “The Voice-Chancellor has completely bulldozed the prescribed procedures by appointing deans on ad-hoc basis since 2009.”

Dr. Najma Najam, who also 'heads' the ISI psychological warfare cell, faces charges of plagiarism besides attack on a female student, Nasira Parveen , with co-accused Dr. Ahsanullah Mir, Assistant Professor Manzoor Ali, Karim Khan, Dr. Salma Durrani, Dr. Muhammad Ramzan and others.

Assistant Professor Manzoor Ali is currently 'plagiarizing' a PhD thesis at the Physics department, Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad besides being 'involved' in the murder of Shila, killing of a father and daughter in Hunza and many more 'honor-related' crimes in Gilgit. Locals allege that Prof. Manzoor Ali is working for the ISI, misusing his social position as president of the Ismaili Regional Council. "He is involved in the first 'blasphemy' case in Gilgit, just see his statement," said a foreign-educated local, requesting not to be named.

"A leader is there to save their people but Manzoor Ali is there to kill innocent people and be a part of the 'ghairat' (honor) brigade of the ISI to get promotion. Shia, Sunni and Ismaili all are Muslims, and they can't even imagine of committing blasphemy in normal conditions. This is a conspracy to Talibanize and polarize our peaceful society," the local added.

"In the guise of teachers, there are also some hardcore criminals, but out of terror no body can say anything to them," said a female student. "They can attack me directly or indirectly and run my life if I said something about on campus harassment in the presence of a female VC."

KIU female students become target of 'ISI agents' on campus
The Terrorland blogs have been exposing the inhuman activities of the ‘criminals on campus’ for over a year. “And now the truth has come out from the horse’s mouth," said a local journalist. "We can’t publish it in our newspaper. But The Terrorland can… and I know like some cheap journalists and media organizations, The Terrorland Team would not take credits with drumbeats!”

“Until the admin and its puppets among the teachers are suspended and FIRs are registered against them, the reputation of the university couldn’t be restored,” said a KIU staffer on condition of anonymity. “These people are actually agents of intelligence agencies who are playing with the lives of students, unfortunately, female students are their special target.”

While talking about Nasira’s case, the staffer said: “Everybody knows it was a big, big conspiracy against Habib (Sulemani) and people know how the agencies hire boys to make scandals about female family members of potential rivals. The criminals on campus have put the future of our nation in jeopardy.”

The university management issued appointment letters to their near-and-dear-ones not to the candidates who were recommended by members of the selection board. The statement said Rs. 5 million firewood allowance was allocated for the year 2010-2011, however, it was not fully granted to the staff.

The KIU Treasury was being run on ad-hoc basis for last four years and there are huge financial irregularities as the Vice-Chancellor and her powerful gang is misusing the Pakistani and foreign government funds. It said all tenders and contracts had been given to their relatives and favorite people as a part of the ‘collaborated’ corruption.

The statement said that science laboratories, despite being well-equipped, were not functional. “The present regime of the university totally ignores the rules of HEC and also set aside the previous Syndicate’s approval regarding leave for higher studies.”

"Closing of GARNET (Gems Cutting laboratory) is illegal," the statement said.

“Gilgit-Baltistan is famous for gems and closing of this lab shows that the KIU admin is enemy of education and the people. The VC, Registrar and others must be removed as soon as possible,” a man dealing in precious stones remarked.

The anxiety among the students, academic staff, parents and in the corridors of power is increasing day by day... “No mater what happens, no one can remove Dr. Najma or Dr. Ahsan from the posts of VC and Registrar. They're the most influential people in the region,” said an official. "

Agenda, Agenda…What’s the real Agenda?

Americans are watching the news and shaking their heads saying “Here we go again”! No sooner does President Obama make a statement like “We will not use military power in Libya” than the next day he addresses the country saying “We find ourselves in the position of having to, for humanitarian reasons, support the revolutionaries in Libya with our military power –this is our responsibility”. Who does he think he is fooling and how stupid does he think the American public is? It may be difficult to believe, but the American people are feeling betrayed and repressed by their own government in so many ways. As one citizen said recently “Why is it that our government is spending trillions of dollars on a military security complex that they use to invade other countries for no legitimate reason while our own people are sleeping in the streets and dying because they don’t have decent health care?”
One doesn’t have to be a political analyst to figure out that there is more going on than meets the eye. Nothing is making any sense. There is an agenda in place that the people know is going on but are unsure of all its details. Whatever accusations come forth, the American government not only denies them but goes to great lengths to cover up the real agenda. Even many of the humanitarian groups who initially believed the American government’s lies woke up to reality and to demonstrate their humanitarian determination, in a number of instances, went to other countries and made themselves human shields against the American military’s bombs. So what is really going on? Many things are going on and it is a complex and multi-faceted arena. Some say that the war is about oil. Well, it’s common knowledge that America gets more of its oil from sources other than the middle-east such as Canada and South America. So one has to ask why America isn’t attacking those countries but chooses to invade the middle- east. Others say it’s about uranium or even water… the oil of the future! There are a lot of different angles but one thing is certain - the American government keeps denying all accusations that clearly point the finger at them as a long time troublemaker and aggressor in the middle-east and in fact around the globe.
There’s a lot of talk about agendas but when they are really examined closely they just don’t make a lot of sense. As one American said “How stupid does our government think we are – telling us all these lies”? If one looks past the oil, the water, or whatever other obvious benefits the American government is after, it doesn’t take a mastermind to see that this whole conspiracy could very well be about the safety and well-being of their best friend in the middle-east – Israel. Certainly oil, water and other political benefits are side dishes but they are not the main course.
So, this being the case, whether anyone admits it or not, things start to make sense. Once the agenda is identified and understood, it is much easier to understand the politics of America and its allies and what their aspirations are in the middle-east. A clear perspective can be very helpful in understanding this complex and underhanded scenario.
If anyone thinks the issue going on from the perspective of the U.S. government is about democracy, think again. America hasn’t even been loyal to the democratic ideals its own founding fathers put forth. When it really gets down to the bottom line, it’s all about power, money and control. If one examines the power and practices of such special interest groups as the Israeli lobby in America (see Islamtimes ‘Today Palestine..Tomorrow America?’) it is easy to see a prime example of the decay of democracy in the States.
So, back to the boiling pot of the middle-east. America has spent decades building relationships and buying off the leaders of the countries in that part of the world. Buddying up with the powers that be and putting them in their back pocket, using them as agents of espionage and as military satellites just so Israel could feel more secure. Israel being thankful to the U.S. for their help and support makes them a strong team member in partnership in their efforts to control the whole area either directly or indirectly. The agenda and the methods of implementing it have never changed but the methods used at any given time and place are customized to suit the situation. They pull out whatever tricks they have in their bag that they feel will be effective in the moment – money, military power, sanctions and even war to insure that everything goes the way they want it to go. And of course the American president can always be seen on t.v. making carefully written speeches aimed at making the American public afraid not to support the government in whatever action they have decided to take. The fear of ‘outside terrorism’ that could spread to America is always the trump card the politicians play when they want to put the general public into a state of fear. Then with the support of the people behind them, the strings of the treasury are untied and additional monies are spent on building up the military.
So now that the face of the middle- east is changing as the masses are standing up in greater numbers and places like never before, be sure that the American political machine is and for a long time has been carefully planning its strategy to protect its future interests in this prime area of real estate known as the middle-east and is always ready to take advantage of the situation.
In Egypt Mubarak has been the good friend of America for decades. But now, as he is getting ousted and it looks like there is no turning back, the American government is saying that this oppressor has to go. And of course, it is easy to support the end of Gadhafi’s regime with Obama calling it a humanitarian effort. Secretary Clinton supported the attacks describing him as a mentally unstable dictator who might at any moment slaughter large numbers of his own people. It also tells the other countries that America is ready to go in with their own military power and alliance of partners if they think there is reason to attack. Afraid of the situation in Bahrain because they are Shia and feared connected to Iran, America launched an assault by proxy carried out by Saudia Arabia. Secretary Clinton offered words of support for the revolutionaries in Iran and word has it that they have been supporting the revolutionaries in Iran for some time now. Syria, being suspect of being pro-Iranian also gives the Americans a unique challenge. Somewhere in between there is Tunisia, the first one to formally start the chain of events followed by Jordan and Yemen. Each country presents a challenge that will to be dealt with in a very individualized way. But in the end, each one gives the U.S. an excuse to jump in pretending to support the oppressed while in reality tending to their own goals and agenda.
No one knows when or how all this will end. But it is clear that a lot of change is going to be going on and that means that there is a lot of power up for grabs in the middle-east. Hopefully, the oppressed, while trying to grab on to their personal freedoms will, in the process, do as Allah told us all to in the Qur’an and ‘…hold on to the strongest handle which will never break off’ (Qur’an 2:256) and then they can be the true winners in this life and the Next.
